Job Description:

institution.As the Director of Cybersecurity Architecture at
JPMorgan Chase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls for
the Employee Compute team, you will lead a specific architecture
area and drive impact across teams, technologies, and projects.
Leverage your expertise in architecture, systems, applications,
security concepts, and product management to oversee multiple
complex projects, serve as a primary decision-maker, and foster
innovation by identifying, communicating risks, mitigation
strategies, and solutions.Job Responsibilities
- Execute threat modeling and maintain security baselines.
- Lead technology and process implementations to meet
architecture objectives.
- Develop strategies for cultivating skills among cybersecurity
architects.
- Make decisions affecting team resources, budgets, operations,
and process implementation.
- Ensure governance for cybersecurity coding, controls, and
success metrics such as cost, maintainability, and operations.
- Define and achieve the function's objectives and outcomes.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and profit and loss
responsibilities.
- Promote the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and
respect, emphasizing diverse representation.Required
Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification in software engineering with
10+ years of applied experience; 5+ years leading technologists in
complex technical domains.
- Experience managing security architect teams working with
solutions architects to embed controls in on-premise and cloud
platforms, and identifying cyber risks.
- Knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Mobile security
principles.
- Proficiency in threat modeling and STRIDE methodology.
- Advanced skills in one or more programming languages (e.g.,
Java, Python, C/C++).
- Experience defining security baselines and control procedures
for operating systems and applications.
- Proven ability in building cybersecurity products for
cloud-based infrastructure.
- Experience leading and developing cross-functional technology
teams.
- Proven talent in hiring, developing, and recognizing team
members.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- CISSP certification.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Practitioner, Cloud
Engineer, Security Engineer, or Security Architect.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer.About the
