Mills James, renowned for its exceptional capabilities in crafting compelling video content, managing prestigious events, and producing innovative digital solutions, is seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a pivotal part of our operations, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting records. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic industry and contribute directly to projects that resonate across various media platforms. Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements. Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Perform bank reconciliations and conduct ledger operations. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including the processing of invoices and tracking of expenses. Support the finance team in the monthly and annual closing processes. Assist with audit preparations and collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with internal controls. Analyze financial data and produce financial reports for senior management to assist in decision-making processes. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy in handling financial data. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is highly preferred. Knowledge of GAAP.
