At Select Sires Inc., a leader in bovine genetics, we are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to enhance our finance team. This role involves managing financial records, overseeing billing activities, and ensuring accuracy in reports and ledgers, all within the dynamic context of the agricultural industry. The ideal candidate will support both our dairy and beef production divisions, reflecting our commitment to precision and sustainability in breeding and genetics. Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. Prepare financial statements and reports. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. Assist with tax preparations and audits. Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel. Excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CPA certification preferred.
