Mount Carmel Health System invites dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistants to join our team, which is renowned for patient care across our five central Ohio hospitals Mount Carmel East, West, St. Anns, New Albany, and Grove City. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our patient-centered approach, ensuring seamless clinical operations and enhancing our patient experiences through effective collaboration with healthcare professionals. This position requires proficiency in clinical tasks, administrative duties, and a commitment to compassionate patient interaction. Perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care and office operations. Record patient history, vital statistics, and information such as test results in medical records. Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests and taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature. Assist medical staff during patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Organize and schedule appointments while managing medical correspondence. Maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to perform essential clinical procedures, such as taking vital signs and administering injections. Capability to handle high stress environments and maintain composure in critical situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification preferred.
