This is a remote opportunity. Transcription contractors will transcribe audios from their home office NetTranscripts is looking to work with individuals who have experience proofreading and correcting draft versions of audio transcriptions through an all-in-one transcription platform such as InScribe, 3M ChartScript, Winscribe, or similar. Multi-speaker interview transcription experience will also be considered. All work is completed within our all-in-one transcription platform. Editors will receive a draft of a transcript that has been created by speech-to-text technology, then listen to the corresponding audio while proofreading and correcting the document to ensure it meets accuracy requirements. Typical corrections include correcting speakers who were misidentified, correcting the accuracy of words spoken, punctuation, and formatting. You should also be committed to being available for work on a consistent basis. We find those happiest with contracting complete 60+ minutes of work 5+ days a week. Our orders are available 7 days a week and we are in need of contractors who have some weekend availability in addition to some weekday availability. There is an initial assessment period before any vendor is able to complete client work. You will need to have Windows 10, an Infinity USB foot pedal and good headphones. Typing 75 words per minute is generally the minimum speed needed to be successful with the orders offered from our company, along with excellent grammar and proofreading skills that will allow you to consistently provide an accurate transcript.
