employment opportunity for a Full-Time Maintenance Tech on our
campus. They will provide a safe environment for residents, guests
and employees. They enhance the lives and nurture the growth of
older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful,
timely manner and by communicating, coordinating and cooperating
with others to attain goals. The primary responsibility of the
Maintenance Tech is to assist in all phases of Maintenance and
Transportation keeping tasks throughout the Otterbein Campus. This
includes completing assigned jobs related to painting, plumbing,
electrical, carpentry, moving, mechanical and other general
repairs. This also includes assisting with scheduled

truly one-of-a-kind. Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday with rotating
emergency on-call. Responsibilities Maintains a comfortable, safe
and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors
and partners. Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks,
including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Assists with moving of residents' furnishings as needed. Paints
residents' living quarters as needed. Assists with the on-going
preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and
operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.
Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation
plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm
testing, fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports,
generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of
interior finishes, and other maintenance records. Assists with
transportation tasks as needed. Performs any other duties as
assigned. Interacts positively with residents, family members,
guests and personnel Follows all established policies, procedures
and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained
Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with other team members
Maintains resident rights and confidentiality Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Licensure/Certification : Holds a valid Ohio driver's license
Experience: General Maintenance - Electrical, Plumbing and
Carpentry Experience, Mechanical Experience on H.V.A.C., Mowers and
