This leadership role requires hands-on experience with heavy equipment, strong blueprint reading skills, and the ability to manage site layouts, grade work, and utility installation. Learn more at www.gosnellservices.com Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead excavation crews on job sites Conduct daily morning meetings with crew to review tasks and safety protocols Communicate daily with the Construction Manager (CM) on progress, schedules, and issues Perform site layout and establish proper grades and elevations Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications Coordinate daily/weekly delivery of materials in collaboration with the CM Serve as a liaison with site superintendents and project stakeholders Complete and submit daily job sheets and field reports Operate heavy equipment as needed (excavators, dozers, skid loaders) Install underground utilities including sanitary, storm, and water lines Maintain consistent safety practices and enforce quality standards Assist with change orders and field modifications in coordination with the CM Qualifications Required: 5 years of civil excavation experience Proficient in operating excavators, dozers, and skid loaders Blueprint reading and site layout skills Experience delegating and supervising crews Ability to coordinate with multiple project stakeholders Preferred: Strong attention to detail and task execution Positive, team-first attitude with strong organizational skills Ability to work efficiently under deadlines Knowledge of concrete work and finishing is a plus Benefits Hourly compensation ($30–$45/hour) or salaried option ($90,000–$125,000/year) Eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance and company profitability 401(k) with employer contributions Paid holidays and PTO On-the-job training and professional development Company vehicle or $1,000 monthly truck allowance Fuel card (for business use) Weekly pay Schedule Full-Time: Monday – Friday Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required based on project needs Location Primary work location is in Hebron, OH Regional travel may be required depending on jobsite location Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
