This position offers the opportunity to work in a school environment with some travel involved, providing essential interpreting services for students and staff. Key Responsibilities: Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and educators by interpreting spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa. Ensure accurate and timely interpretation during classroom lessons, meetings, and school events. Collaborate with teachers and support staff to enhance inclusion and accessibility. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all interpreting assignments. Travel to multiple school sites as required to fulfill interpreting duties. Qualifications and Experience: Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills. Experience interpreting in educational settings preferred.
