Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Lewisville, TX, working onsite within a school setting. This role supports students by providing essential speech and language services, helping to improve communication skills and overall academic success. Both full-time and part-time candidates may be considered for these positions. Positions are open at two locations with distinct caseloads: Durham Middle School: Serving approximately 65 students, with the contract starting ASAP through May 22. Hebron High School/Hebron 9: Serving approximately 85 students, contract dates are the same as above. Candidates with an active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist are required. Preference will be given to those holding the SLP-CCC credential. Candidates currently in their Clinical Fellowship (CF) period must have supervision established before beginning, as the district cannot provide supervision. Key qualifications and requirements: Active State license in Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred Ability to manage caseloads ranging from 65 to 85 students Strong communication and organizational skills Commitment to working onsite full time or part time For CFs, supervision must be pre-arranged externally Responsibilities include: Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Participating in team meetings and ongoing professional development Working onsite within a school environment offers direct interaction with students, fostering impactful support in their educational journey.
