Pediatric Hospitalist Job Details Location: Athens, OH 45701 (Ohio pediatric hospitalist jobs) Setting: Newborn Nursery at a community hospital Assignment Type: Locum tenens (travel healthcare contract) Start Date: November 17, 2025 Duration: 13-week assignment Shift: Varied 24-hour shifts with rounding and offsite call Hours per Week: 36 On-Site Position Hourly Pay Rate: $205/hour Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $4300-$4610 Pediatric Hospitalist Qualifications Board Certified in Pediatrics (MD or DO) Active Ohio medical license or IMLC compact eligibility preferred Minimum 1 year post-residency experience in pediatric hospital medicine Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months Completion of prescreen questionnaire (to be provided) CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained Pediatric Hospitalist Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive newborn nursery care with NICU support from board-certified neonatologists Perform circumcisions and provide pediatric consultations for the emergency department Participate in 24-hour shifts, including patient rounding and offsite call coverage Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects Contribute to knowledge exchange and best practices within a large network of pediatric healthcare providers Apply now to join our dedicated pediatric hospitalist team in Athens, Ohio, and make a difference in newborn and pediatric care!
