About The Position We are seeking an Orthopaedic Surgeon for a 12-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia starting Nov 25, 2025. This opportunity involves 24-hour out-of-house call coverage from 7am to 7am on specified dates. The ideal candidate will have trauma experience and be board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. Job Details - Location: Georgia - Start Date: Nov 25, 2025 - LOA: 12 days - Provider Type Needed: Orthopaedic Surgeon - Schedule: 24-hour out-of-house call from 7am to 7am; coverage required Nov 25–Dec 1 at 7am and Dec 23–Dec 29 at 7am Responsibilities and Duties - Provide 24-hour out-of-house call coverage for orthopaedic surgery cases - Respond to emergent and urgent orthopaedic consults as required - Deliver care aligned with Level III trauma standards - Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure timely and effective patient management - Maintain accurate documentation for all patient encounters Additional Information - Must have an active Georgia medical license - Board certification in Orthopaedic Surgery required - Level III trauma experience required - Candidates must be available for the specified dates; consideration for ongoing scheduling in 2026 may be possible Benefits - Strong compensation - Travel-related expenses covered - A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided - Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
