We are seeking an On-Call Residential Behavioral Health Worker! Nelsonville, OH Join our team! Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services, working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. All of our services are intended to be collaborative and personalized for the individual. We are seeking a Residential Behavioral Health Worker to be available intermittently to cover absences, leaves, or gaps in scheduling. This position would be great for someone who works irregular schedules in another job (firefighters, nurses, etc.) or college students. This individual would need to be available to work the third shift and weekend hours occasionally. Essential Functions: Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of youth. Provides direct care and supervision through facility-based behavioral health services that are practical, helpful, and collaborative. Provides behavioral interventions within a safe, caring, and structured environment, ensuring health and well-being. Ensures adherence to schedules and daily routine. May be required to assist with meal distribution, planning, and implementing activities Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, and cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources. Completes daily summaries of the youth's activities and actions thoroughly and accurately and submits within required timeframes. Provides active coaching for personal care needs, including health, hygiene, nutrition, and life skills. Ensures program areas are safe, following program rules and policies. Teaches, demonstrates, and models appropriate behavioral management, problem-solving, and coping techniques to youth. Advocates for youth, ensuring all basic needs are met, and assisting youth with communicating those needs appropriately. Provides transportation for youth as needed, ensuring compliance with all safety/car seat laws and regulations. Dispenses all medications as directed per prescription and documents per agency policy. Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health. Other duties as assigned.
