Locums Emergency Medicine No Call Zanesville, OH Why This Role High-volume Emergency Department offering steady ongoing shift availability Flexible scheduling with multiple shift options, including December priority dates Level 3 trauma center with full specialty backup and Epic EMR Assignment Details Start Date: 12/13/2025 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: 8a-6p or 2p-12a shifts, including weekends and holidays Practice Setting: Inpatient (Emergency Department) Annual Volume: 70,000 visits Patients per Hour: 1.6-1.8 Trauma Level: 3 EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine Active Ohio license ACLS, ATLS, and PALS Ability to supervise APPs Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Full-spectrum Emergency Medicine in a busy community hospital Responsibilities: - Evaluate and manage a range of emergency presentations - Supervise 4 APPs per shift - Collaborate with specialists in surgery, radiology, and cardiology Facility Resources: - 32-bed Emergency Department - 24/7 specialty support: anesthesia, neuro, ortho, vascular, and cardiothoracic surgery - No OB or newborn deliveries received in the ED Shift Coverage: - Priority December shifts: 8a-6p (Dec 13-14, 19-21, 23-28) - 2p-12a (Dec 12, 31; Jan 1-2) Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
