Job Location Athens, Ohio Job Description An established physician-led group is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician – or a BC Family/Internal Medicine Physician with EM experience – to help expand a growing emergency medicine program in Southeast Ohio. This is a permanent, full-time position with the option to work as an employee (W2) or independent contractor (1099). Position Highlights: ??? 28,000 annual ED visits ? 22-bed Emergency Department 24 hours/day physician coverage (12-hour shifts) ??? 36 hours/day APP coverage EPIC EMR system On-site administrative and clinical support ?? Consistent scheduling and shift stability Not accepting new grads or visa candidates Candidate Requirements: ? Board Certified in Emergency Medicine — OR — Board Certified in FM/IM with 12 months (2,000 hrs) of EM experience ? Active Ohio medical license (or in process) ? List of procedures performed in ED (required at submission) ? DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start) ? Proof of COVID-19 vaccination ? Clean malpractice & licensing history Compensation Options Choose between: 1099 contractor with guaranteed shifts ???
