Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist | General Practice Location: Mount Vernon, OH Employer: GHR Healthcare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum CRNA Opportunity – Mount Vernon, Ohio Job ID: 2937474 Start Date: December 1, 2025 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (option for 4x10s) Setting: Small rural hospital (99 beds) Lodging: Provided by client Position Overview A rural hospital in Mount Vernon, OH is seeking a Locum CRNA for a 3-month block with the potential to convert to a permanent position. This is a great opportunity for providers who enjoy independent practice in a supportive environment. The role focuses on bread-and-butter cases with occasional OB and pediatric ENT procedures. Responsibilities Provide anesthesia for general surgical procedures Perform epidurals for OB cases (must be proficient) Cover occasional pediatric ENT cases (ages 3–5) Work independently with 24/7 supervision and support available Collaborate with anesthesiologists, OR, and pre/post-op staff Manage 5–6 surgical starts per day Document care using Allscripts EMR Patient Demographics 85% Adults 10% OB (epidurals only) 3% Adolescents 2% Pediatrics (ENT only) Requirements Active Ohio license (willing to license) Minimum 2 years of experience Certifications: BLS, ACLS COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Credentialing Estimated timeframe: 30–120 days Orientation: 16 hours Temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean background
