Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Vascular Sonographer - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 02/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Technologist for a full-time assignment requiring BLS and RVT or RVS certification, with at least one year of experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a vascular laboratory performing diagnostic imaging procedures - Schedule is Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM - Patient care includes performing ordered vascular examinations and assisting with special procedures - Involves transport, positioning, and patient safety in the vascular lab setting - Responsible for operating vascular laboratory equipment and managing imaging and medical record systems - Ensures compliance with IAC and department standards and assists with documentation and procedures - Assists in training students and onboarding new staff - Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment, including cleaning and disinfection per hospital policy - Requires physical ability to exert up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently - Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and ongoing education /n /n Requirements/n - Graduate from an accredited institution in diagnostic medical sonography or related field - Current BLS (or BCLS) certification required - Registered through ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS); must be obtained within 90 days of hire if not held prior - Minimum of 1 year vascular ultrasound experience required; 2 years preferred under the supervision of a vascular physician or vascular lab - Must maintain a minimum of 15 CME hours every three years in accordance with IAC standards - License required if applicable - Candidate must have a permanent address at least 50 miles away to qualify as a traveler /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-647699.
