Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Vascular Sonographer Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Vascular Tech - Angiography Job Details: • Work Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM • Perform diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations under physician orders • Operate laboratory equipment, medical record and imaging systems safely and appropriately • Transport, move and position patients in a safe and appropriate manner • Assist physicians with special vascular laboratory procedures • Maintain educational requirements and competencies for vascular certification • Must be graduate from accredited institution with ARDMS registration (RVT preferred) or CCI certification (RVS) • Registration must be completed within 90 days of hire date if not already obtained • Minimum 15 hours of CME required every three years per IAC standards • Minimum two years experience under supervision of qualified vascular physician or vascular laboratory preferred • Ensure compliance with IAC standards and hospital policies • Assist in precepting students and new employees • Maintain safe working environment and perform cleaning/disinfection per hospital policies • Must have permanent address 50 miles away to qualify as traveler • Physical demands include lifting 20-50 pounds occasionally and 10-25 pounds frequently Facility: This medical center is committed to providing exceptional patient and family-centered care through a comprehensive healthcare delivery system.
