registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Deliver high-quality nursing care in a dynamic
cardiac step-down unit located in Coshocton, OH. This contract
opportunity offers a focused schedule with the chance to apply
specialized skills in cardiac nursing and post-operative care.
Ideal candidates bring expertise in managing complex cardiac
patients, mastering both clinical skills and electronic medical
records systems. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active RN
license with a minimum of three years experience in cardiac
step-down nursing Proficiency caring for open-heart surgery
patients, ventilator management, and cardiac drips Strong
background in heart catheterization recovery and med-surg step-down
care Current BLS and ACLS certification required Experience with
Epic EMR system preferred Responsibilities: Provide exceptional
patient care during day shifts (7:00 AM 7:30 PM), working 36 hours
weekly Participate in every third weekend rotation and one holiday
shift as part of the scheduling Support unit operations by floating
to other nursing units as needed during low census or staffing
shortages Administer and monitor care for complex cardiac cases,
including post-operative open heart patients and those on
ventilators Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize
patient outcomes Schedule: 36 hours per week, dayshift (7:00 AM to
7:30 PM) Typical every third weekend and holiday coverage No
regular on-call duties; occasional call may be requested during
staffing fluctuations Contract Details: Start date fixed on
1/19/2026 Contract may be subject to cancellation with up to 36
