Job Description Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with Med/Surg Telemetry experience to support a healthcare facility in Medina, OH. This contract position offers a chance to apply your clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment specializing in medical-surgical telemetry care. Key Qualifications and Experience: Valid Ohio RN license or active Compact State license in hand Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in med/surg telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience accepted Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from recognized organizations (e.g., American Red Cross) Ability to perform ECG rhythm recognition and pass clinical competency tests during orientation Commitment to work at least every other holiday Familiarity with electronic time and documentation systems is helpful Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive care to medical-surgical telemetry patients following established protocols Manage patient assessments, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring with precision Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Maintain adherence to hospital policies as well as safety and quality standards Complete required competencies during orientation to demonstrate clinical readiness Schedule: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) Potential shift rotation based on operational needs About the Location:Medina, OH is a welcoming city known for its community-oriented atmosphere and quality of life.
