registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A nursing opportunity is available in a cardiac
step-down unit requiring skilled Registered Nurses with a strong
background in cardiac care. This contract role offers a valuable
chance to apply specialized cardiac nursing skills in a supportive
and well-regarded healthcare environment. Location: Zanesville, OH
Schedule/Hours: 36 hours per week, dayshift (7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.)
Typically every 3rd weekend and 1 holiday coverage (subject to
change) No on-call required, with rare exceptions during census
fluctuations Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum three
(3) years of cardiac step-down nursing experience Proficient in
heart catheterization recovery, managing cardiac drips, post-op
open-heart surgery care, and med-surg step-down patients Experience
with open-heart patients, ventilators, and using Epic EMR system is
mandatory Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Ability to
float to other units during low census or coverage needs (as
necessary) Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care to
cardiac step-down patients, including post-op open-heart and heart
cath recovery Monitor and manage cardiac drips and ventilated
patients Maintain accurate records and utilize Epic EMR for
documentation Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure
patient safety and quality outcomes Contract details include the
possibility of occasional schedule adjustments with up to 36 hours
of cancellation rights within the 13-week contract period. About
