Job Description:
Type: 1099 Position: Locums Practice Setting: Hospital Call 90 %
Labor and Delviery Location: Springfield, OH Pay rate: 24 hour On
Call: $1500/day - to include 4 gratis hours Shift: Dates of
Coverage: TBD Friday 7am through Monday 7am every other weekend
Call Ratio: 1:4 currenlty JOB DETAILS: Total Number of Beds:
L&D/Post Partum /Triage 34 Beds Hopsital 205 Average Number of
Scheduled Patients Per Day: Varies Number of Physicians in
Practice: Four How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 per 12 hour shift
Onsite Lab & Ultrasound: Yes Describe Support Staff: L&D Nurses
and Midwives What Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 60%
What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 40% What
Percentage of Practice is GYN: 60% Average Number of GYN Surgeries
Per Day: Five What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: One
Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: Four Nursery Level
(I, II, III): Level II Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Required
Obstetrics Procedures: Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins,
Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.), High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with
Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung
Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.), FHR Interpretation
NST/CST/FSE, OB ultrasounds Performance of Interpretation, OB
ultrasounds Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability) Labor and
Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low
Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section, Complicated Delivery
C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc, VBAC s, Repair
of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures:
Surgical Gynecology Open, Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only-Tubal
Ligation, LOA s, Chromal Tubation, Operative/Major (Includes
Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive
LOA s Requirements: Board Certified - REQUIRED OH license (willing
to accept providers needing to obtain State License) - REQUIRED BLS
