Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Emergency Department RN – Night Shift – Akron, OH Treva Workforce is seeking a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 14-week assignment in the Emergency Department at Akron Campus, a Level I Trauma Center in Akron, OH. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment suited for experienced ED nurses. Assignment Details: • Start/End Date:– • Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Schedule: 36-hour work week • Unit: Emergency Department – 74 beds | Level I Trauma Center • Float Requirement: Yes, within scope of practice • On-Call: Not required Requirements: • Active RN license in the state of Ohio • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience • EPIC EMR experience within the past year • IV start and venipuncture proficiency required • Current certifications: - BLS (AHA) – Required - ACLS (AHA) – Required - NIH Stroke Scale – Required - PALS – Preferred Key Responsibilities: • Provide rapid assessment, treatment, and stabilization of emergency patients • Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care • Administer medications, start IVs, and perform necessary procedures • Respond to codes and trauma activations • Document care accurately using EPIC EMR • Educate patients and families during high-stress situations Why Treva Workforce?
