Job Description Job Description About the Role: The Director of Wellness is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the nursing department within a healthcare facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Minimum Qualifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States. Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and nursing best practices. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification). Experience working in Assisted Living Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and healthcare management software. Experience in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs. Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage nursing staff to maintain high standards and professional conduct. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation requirements. Oversee staffing, scheduling, and budget management to ensure adequate resources and cost-effective operations. Manage compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
