Join Our Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) –
Obstetrics Focused Are you a dedicated and skilled CRNA seeking an
impactful role in a supportive rural hospital environment? We are
looking for a highly qualified Certified Registered Nurse
Anesthetist to deliver exceptional anesthesia care in a small,
community-focused facility. This is an excellent opportunity to
work independently with comprehensive support, making a tangible
difference in patient outcomes while enjoying a competitive pay
rate. In this role, you will administer anesthesia for a variety of
cases with a focus on obstetrics and general surgeries, ensuring
the safety and comfort of patients across all age groups. The
position offers a balanced schedule of day shifts and night call
shifts, with the flexibility of an extended three-month block and
the option to prolong. Lodging is provided by the client, and you
will be supported by a dedicated team including anesthesiologists,
OR staff, and Post-Op teams, with supervision available 24/7. Key
Responsibilities: Manage anesthesia for 30-40 deliveries per month,
predominantly OB cases (about 35%), as well as general adult cases
(60%) and a small portion of adolescent ENT procedures. Provide
anesthesia coverage during 5-6 starts per day, primarily on day
shifts from 08:00 to 17:00. Perform routine anesthesia for bread
and butter cases, with no heads, hearts, or trauma cases. Work
independently with supervision and support from anesthesiologists,
ensuring quality care. Required Skills: Board Certified or eligible
CRNA with valid licensure. Demonstrated ability to handle obstetric
and general anesthesia cases. Strong independent decision-making
skills. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to
work efficiently in a rural hospital setting. Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience in obstetric anesthesia. Advanced ultrasound
skills. Familiarity with rural healthcare environments. Preferred
Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited nurse
anesthesia program. Minimum of 2 years of recent CRNA experience,
ideally with obstetrics. Certification via NBCRNA. Other
Requirements: Ability to navigate a 30-45 day privileging process.
Willingness to work 5x8-hour day shifts and participate in night
call shifts. Commitment to providing compassionate,
