Special Procedures Tech Location: Zanesville, OH Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $3,120 to $3,280 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $78.00 - $82.00/Hourly. Summary: A Special Procedures Technician works in Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) labs, assisting physicians with minimally invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures related to the heart and vascular system. They operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment while ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency. Responsibilities: Assist physicians during cardiac and electrophysiology procedures (angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, ablations, pacemaker/ICD implantation). Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, consent verification, and site preparation. Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and EP recording systems. Monitor and document patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures. Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols. Requirements Requirements: 1 year of Cath/EP Lab , Special Procedures Technologist (SPT) experience Required, Will work in both the Cath Lab and EP Lab, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, ARRT (R) Certification.
