What You ll Do

• Provide OB/GYN care in a clinic/hospital setting with on-call coverage
• Manage deliveries with an average of 1 per day (approx. 360 births/year)
• Participate in 1:4 call rotation (weekday/weekend coverage while on assignment)
• Document and manage patient care using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Provide routine delivery management (e.g., vaginal delivery, low forceps, and decision-making for C-section)
• Support complicated delivery care (e.g., C-section, breech, multiple births, and abruptions)
• Perform required OB ultrasound interpretations (including NST/FSE, viability/screening, and targeted/anatomic when applicable)

What You Need
Required

• BLS and ACLS
• Board Certified or truly board eligible
• Ability to be within a 30-minute radius at all times while on call

Preferred

• Experience with FHR interpretation (NST & FSE) and OB ultrasound interpretation (viability/screening and targeted/anatomic), if applicable

About the Assignment
Mary Rutan Hospital is seeking a locum OB/GYN Physician for a time-sensitive call coverage need in Bellefontaine, Ohio. The facility uses Meditech Expanse EMR, has APPs/nursing staff support, and supports a practice model with 4 physicians and a staffed bed capacity of 45 (plus 20 ED room capacity). The role includes delivery coverage with an average of one delivery per day and involves occasional high-risk situations that are typically referred to tertiary centers.
