As a Local CDL-A Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transport of goods while adhering to regulatory standards and client expectations. Safely operate a tractor-trailer/truck to deliver goods to local clients Load and unload cargo while ensuring the security of the freight Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch and customer service teams to provide updates and report issues Proficiency in GPS and Route Management Systems Excellent time management and organizational skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate and maintain a clean and safe vehicle Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT medical card)
