Job Description:
At Hogan1, we are continually pushing the boundaries of
transportation and logistics services. As a CDL A Truck Driver in
our firm, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing
our reputation for efficient logistics and exceptional client
service. You will be tasked with the safe and timely transport of
goods, while adhering to all federal and state regulations. This
position is ideal for those passionate about professional driving
and who thrive in a structured and dynamic environment. Operate a
tractor-trailer or truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds
Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW). Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
promptly while complying with regulations and law requirements.
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform
preventive maintenance as needed. Document and log work/rest
periods, retain fuel/toll receipts, and maintain comprehensive logs
of their cargo particulars. Comply with truck driving rules and
regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break
periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver
trucks into loading or unloading positions, collect and verify
delivery instructions, and report defects, accidents, or
violations. Proven work experience as a truck driver with clean
driving record. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and
regulations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected
situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Strong problem
solving and time management skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Clean driving record. DOT
Physical Examination (Medical card). Completion of an accredited
CDL training school or course preferred.
