We are seeking experienced CDL-A certified drivers who thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, and who are committed to safety and efficiency in every haul they undertake. Safely operate a flatbed truck and transport goods as assigned, ensuring timely and damage-free delivery. Conduct regular vehicle checks and maintenance reports to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. Secure cargo properly using tarps and other necessary equipment, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm pick-up and delivery schedules. Resolve any discrepancies in documentation or cargo in a professional manner. Adapt to varying weather conditions and route changes while maintaining efficiency and safety. Keep logs of deliveries and vehicle inspections as per federal, state, and local regulations. Proven skill in handling heavy-duty trucks and flatbed trailers. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and safety standards. Excellent navigation ability and experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs). Ability to secure loads with tarps and straps for safe transportation. Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and team.
