Meijer, a prestigious leader in the supercenter industry since 1934 with over 240 stores across the Midwest, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic Operations and Site Management team. This pivotal role focuses on optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring safety compliance, and improving operational efficiencies within our distribution centers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong commitment to upholding Meijer's standards in service, quality, and productivity. Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and service standards. Manage and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel to achieve operational goals. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training and development, and manage team dynamics to ensure a high-performance work environment. Monitor inventory levels and ensure the accuracy and security of all warehouse stocks. Liaise with other department managers to ensure a seamless supply chain operation. Prepare reports on warehouse performance and progress towards company objectives. Strong leadership and personnel management skills Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision Certification in Supply Chain Management (CSCM) OSHA Certification in Warehouse Safety preferred
