As a CDL A Delivery Driver based in Lockbourne, you play a crucial role by ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of products to our valued customers. Our extensive network, including over 80 distribution centers, relies on professional drivers like you to bridge the gap between goods and customer satisfaction, serving major convenience stores, mass merchants, and restaurant chains across the United States. Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to customers as per scheduled routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues, report any deficiencies. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all goods are securely fastened. Maintain accurate logs of driving times, deliveries, and rest periods. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. Collect and verify delivery instructions, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete. Communicate effectively with dispatch/management on delivery status or any issues encountered. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record. Strong knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Adaptability to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Great physical condition and stamina. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A). Must have a clean driving record. DOT medical card, with physical examination as per transportation regulations.
