Our CDL A Truck Drivers are essential to our operation, providing safe, reliable, and timely delivery of goods across various routes. Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck in accordance with company safety policies and procedures. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure proper handling and safety of goods transported. Ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes. Reviewing orders prior to delivery to ensure that loads are correct and that they are properly prepared. Manage routes and routines to optimize efficiency and fuel consumption while adhering to government rules and regulations. Maintain communication with the logistics team to report any issues or disruptions encountered on the road. Handle documentation ensuring accuracy and security of cargo. Ability to operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck safely and efficiently. Strong time management skills and reliability in scheduled navigation and delivery. Excellent geographical knowledge and ability to use navigation tools. Good physical condition and stamina for manual loading and unloading operations when required. Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) Preferably some certifications in safety management and long-haul driving.
