Job Description Job Description Barberton Mancan is assisting a local Barberton company searching for several HVAC Technicians. FIRST SHIFT *Currently working overtime - Five 10 hours shifts Monday - Friday 6am - 4:30pm Pay is based on experience and skills Assembly Technician HVAC: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for building and troubleshooting of commercial HVAC data center cooling systems. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reads work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine established assembly methods. Ability to cut, fit, join and assemble commercial refrigeration piping. Ability to braze commercial refrigeration piping. Ability to fabricate custom piping for components and accessory devices. Large system vacuums, pressure testing, charging operations. Ability to assist general unit assembly as needed. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to: customers, clients and other employees in the organization. Provide status and clear and concise reports to management as required. Documents inspections, maintenance and repair work, and failures. Participates in training to improve technical knowledge and skills. Works according to production timelines and required processes. Performs other duties as assigned by management. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or six to nine months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, licenses and registrations required: HVAC License/EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification. Working knowledge of commercial refrigeration requirements-NON AMONIA R410 Refrigerant knowledge Computer skills required: ADP TotalSource; Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, ERP. Other skills required: oMust have knowledge of commercial HVAC systems that will help us design future versions of the product and system. oCertified brazing accreditation thru NATE, JATC, pipefitter or equivalent. oAbility to communicate clearly with customers, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and fellow employees. oAbility to learn new applications quickly. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively as a team player with staff personnel. Will need to pass a pre employment background check and drug screen.
