Bellevue, OH Report Line This role reports to the Production
Manager/Supervisor. Your day at a glance Picture starting your
shift with a safety huddle and process review. You move from
staging to weighing raw materials, then set up and run production
equipment to achieve the targeted run rates. Throughout the day,
you monitor controls, perform in-process checks, and conduct
initial product tests so materials meet specification before
release. You verify labels and packaging against instructions, then
pack finished goods to H.B. Fuller’s quality standards. Between
batches, you keep your area clean, follow EHS procedures, and
support teammates by cross-training on different process steps. You
wrap up by documenting results and handing off clear updates to the
next operator. Shifts 12-hour Day Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
(2-2-3 schedule; every other Saturday, Sunday, and Monday required)
12-hour Night Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. (2-2-3 schedule; every
other Saturday, Sunday, and Monday required); $1.00 per hour shift
differential What you’ll do Stage and accurately weigh raw
materials for production. Operate processing equipment following
defined procedures and work instructions. Monitor equipment
performance to maintain desired run rates. Conduct initial testing
and product release to confirm specification compliance. Verify
packaging components and apply labels per established rules.
Package finished products to H.B. Fuller quality standards. Comply
with all quality, operating, and EHS procedures and regulations.
Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas. Perform other tasks as
assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor. Qualifications High
school diploma, general education diploma, or equivalent basic
educational credential. Familiarity with common software tools (MS
Office). Ability to read and interpret work orders, production
processes, safety regulations, and quality procedures/instructions.
Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule. 3 years in an
industrial setting operating machinery. Background in plastics
machine operation preferred. Willingness to be cross-trained to run
all production process equipment. Physical environment Prolonged
standing with frequent walking and stair climbing. Manual handling
to remove or lift boxes; reaching with extended arms. Regular
stooping and bending. Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100
pounds with assistance. Work in a typical chemical manufacturing
environment with normal temperature, dust, odor, and noise
conditions. Compensation & benefits Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
