We are seeking a Site Civil Designer to join our team in the Newark, OH office.
This is a great opportunity to join our team of professionals and grow your career. As a Civil Designer, you will assist multi-disciplinary professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a variety of land development projects, and assist in the preparation of land entitlement and permitting documents.In this position, there is an opportunity to become a critical team member and be mentored by a group of highly effective designers and engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Prepare or assist with the preparation of health and safety plans, and implement health and safety plans, including client-specific requirements and documentation such as forms, job safety analysis (JSAs), etc.
• Collect and help interpret data through research, file reviews, field observations and measurements, field testing, and other methods
• Assist in preparing detailed plans, technical specifications, and reports in compliance with Verdantas' CAD standards
• Perform computations and process data using computer software or other established methods
• Observe and document field activities and prepare construction documentation reports
• Assist in preparing cost estimates for design implementation
• Perform site inspections under the supervision of senior engineers for projectsQUALIFICATIONS:
  • 
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution and 2-4 years of experience supporting site, civil or land development design. Internship or Co-op experience is highly preferred
  • Working toward Professional Engineering license, EIT preferred
  • Proficient in MS. Office and have knowledge of AutoCAD, or Civil 3D
  • Must be a US citizen, green card holder, or permanent resident
