Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for and IT Solutions Architect to oversee the technology portfolio roadmaps and architecture. They will be responsible to partner with teams to ensure consistency in design and maintainability. The team of architects works to ensure domain driven design, a service-oriented architecture, secure solutions, interoperability of systems, modern development practices all with a cloud-first mindset.There is currently only 3 other IT Architects so this person will be involved in building this team up. They will be working within 2 different scrum teams. There are two scrum teams that run completely independently, Public Website and CRM.
The public web site includes the general facing www site, customer web-based order entry, customer connectivity, careers and perhaps a few small other items. It is built on an on-premises deployment of Optimizely (formerly EpiServer). The team has a goal that in 1-2 years they will be moving it to the cloud; likely Optimizely DEP. Other technologies involved include NServiceBus (divest), BizTalk (divest) and microservices (invest). Third party software and integrations include HubSpot (maintain), Dynatrace (invest), Bluestone PIM (invest), GroupBy and Corcentric (maintain). The Product Owner within IT and the primary business director are strong personalities. The architect needs the ability to stand up to them and justify designs and recommendations. This team is composed of 2 scrum master (shared) , 1 BA/QA, and 2 .net/full stack developers.
The CRM team supports an on-premises deployment of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The future goal is not only to move it to a cloud hosted platform but also to explore and implement a true enterprise-wide CRM (likely still Microsoft). Most of their work is in the CRM platform and C# console apps for data integrations using the CRM API. They also support an up-and-coming web application, so .NET development and microservices experience is needed. This team is composed of 1 product owner, 1 scrum master, and 3 developers (2 .net, 1 CRM Dev). They are looking to treat their CRM more like a platform instead of a reporting portal. The goal is to move this to an enterprise CRM and re-deploy in the cloud company wide. Responsibilities

• Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion
• Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users
• Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency
• Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions
  Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience with IT Architecture best practices and goals
  • Experience with Microsoft/.net
  • Cloud migration experience - they are on prem right now but looking to move to cloud
  • Understanding domain driven design
  • Understanding microservices architecture and event driven design/how to synchronize
  • Experience with API's
  • Business skills - will be working with executive level employees/presenting
  • Knowledge of coding - will not be super hands on
    Plusses:
    • Experience with Microsoft Kubernetes/Azure
    • Experience with Optimizely
