registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. An exceptional opportunity is available for an
experienced RN with Med/Surg Telemetry expertise to provide skilled
nursing care in a dynamic hospital setting. This role demands
clinical proficiency, critical thinking, and a caring attitude to
deliver high-quality patient care on a rotating day/night schedule.
Key Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 18 months of permanent
experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing prior to the assignment At
least 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (travel
experience is acceptable) Valid Ohio RN license or Compact State
license Current American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
certifications Ability to work a 3x12-hour shift rotation,
including night shifts (7:00 pm 7:30 am) and day shifts (7:00 am
7:30 pm) Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and
safeMedicate assessment during orientation Willingness to work at
least every other holiday Familiarity with electronic timekeeping
systems for logging hours Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient
care on Med/Surg Telemetry units, monitoring cardiac rhythms and
responding promptly to clinical changes Administer medications and
treatments safely and accurately according to facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate
individualized patient care Maintain documentation and communicate
effectively to ensure seamless patient transitions Adhere to
hospital policies and participate in quality improvement
initiatives Location:Position is based in Lorain, Ohio, offering
