Interventional Radiology Location: Pickerington, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,106 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certifications: BLS Certification required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Knowledge of anatomy, exposure, positioning, physics, radiation protection, and medical terminology is essential. Willingness to assist in training permanent staff is required. Description: The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist must also be competent as the scrub assistant during invasive procedures. They must maintain proficiency in the operation and use of angiographic fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and CT for both diagnostic and interventional purposes. The technologist will manage a significant inventory of products within the lab. They assist in performing various Neuro Interventional surgical procedures, such as cerebral aneurysm coilings, arteriovenous malformations, and interventions for strokes. Oncology procedures may include biopsies of various organs, chemoembolizations, and radiopharmaceutical therapies. The technologist also participates in uterine artery embolizations, venous lysis of tumors, vertebroplasties, infusion pump placements/revisions, radiofrequency ablations, and other peripheral vascular interventions, including lysis and clot removal. This department conducts over 20,000 procedures annually. The medical facility has a diverse range of services, including operating rooms, procedure rooms, and an intensive care unit. A multidisciplinary approach is followed, integrating support from various specialties such as physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.
