Job Description Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Zanesville, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel HIGHLIGHTS: - Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred) - Active Ohio RN license (required at submission) - Current BLS certification - Proven ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips - Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training provided) - Float as needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders - No on-call requirement - Shift: 36 hrs/week | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | Every other weekend required ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate contract termination MORE INFORMATION: - Travel RN - Renal Med-Surg - Unit: 21-Bed Renal/Medical-Surgical - We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy 21-bed Renal Med-Surg unit specializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical conditions - This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments, and multidisciplinary coordination - The ideal candidate is confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover - Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal and medical-surgical patients - Manage patients with acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs Premier Benefits:/nWeekly pay (every Friday for the week worked prior) direct deposit/nReferral bonuses, Loyalty Bonuses/nCEU reimbursement after 1,040 hrs/n24/7 on-call support/nDay-one health, dental & vision/nJoint Commission Certified About Premier Medical Staffing Services Premier Medical Staffing Services, LLC is a nationally expanding healthcare staffing firm for healthcare professionals and companies.
